Yesterday we prepared our newspaper. My job was to write a review about a play we watched on 10th of November- it wasn't difficult for me to write it because I quite enjoyed the production, but the hard part was that I had only one night to finish my article. However, I managed to make it on time and my part of the newspaper was ready when it was supposed to be. The paper also has one surprise for the buyers- one of its pages is signed by one of the main actors in the play so I think this edition will be very successful.

Theater play -"The Iron Candlestick" - 10.11
On 10th of November we visited the local theater and watched a play based on a essential for the Bulgarian literature novel, called "The Iron Candlestick". The play was performed by amateur actors and was not good - many aspects of the novel were missing and there was not even a different angle of presenting the story - there was not a single deed of creativity and in overall it was a quite boring event. However now I am able to better differentiate between good and bad acting, because events such as that develop my critical thinking when it comes to performing artists. For this reason I consider my experience gained from this theater play for valuable.

Theater play - "The Ugly One" - 08.11
Having the opportunity to watch such an amazing play as "The Ugly One" really inspired me. The play was about the obsession of the modern society for beauty and the problem of wanting to become another person. This are very popular topics these days and I was glad to see these topics incorporated so well in one very vividly written play. The actors' performance was amazing, because there were 3 roles for every actor and the rapid shifting between the different roles was incredible to observe. I really was astonished by the whole play, because it was so good! The decors were great, the actors-sublime and the atmosphere was amazing too. I found my self questioning my personal ideology and developing an opinion on several modern day issues. It was truly valuable for me to become a spectator of this great piece of theatrical performance.
